What does iHeartRadio for iPhone and iPod touch cost?
iHeartRadio is free to download. There are no additional charges to listen to your favorite local radio stations beyond your mobile carrier or Wi-Fi provider's standard data rates. Premium content  from Hannity, Bob & Tom, Jim Rome are subject to a subscription fee.

What do I need to use iHeartRadio?
You'll need an Apple iPhone, iPhone 3G or iPod touch running iPhone OS 2.0.2 or later. After downloading and installing the application over the air or via iTunes on your PC or Mac, you'll need to be connected to a data network in order to use iHeartRadio. *Attention iPod Touch users: Premium content  requires OS v2.2.1 or higher

Is iHeartRadio available in my area?
iHeartRadio is available to customers in the United States and can be downloaded via the iPhone App Store.

Listening to iHeartRadio:

Why can't I see the lyrics or the album art all the time?
iHeartRadio attempts to match the music playing on the radio with our database of album art and lyrics. While we make every attempt to find a match, if no match is found, you will not see album art, song and artist name or lyrics. We will continue to improve matching to give you the best experience possible.

I can't hear the music, why?
iHeartRadio requires a network connection, via WiFi or your mobile carrier to hear the stations. IHeartRadio is optimized to work in Edge, 3G and WiFi networks. If you are not hearing audio, please check that you have signal to your iPhone or iTouch.

The audio keeps stopping and starting, why?
The iHeartRadio experience is only as good as the connection you have to the network. Your iPhone may have issues when in motion as it attempts to maintain a connection to a network, and trouble may occur when you travel from a 3G network to an Edge network and vice versa.

Suggestions for use in a car or train.

  1. Turn off your WiFi connections. This will temporarily stop your iPhone from seeking out available WiFi networks and route you to use 3G and Edge for network connectivity. Start by going to the "Settings" icon on your phone. Click it.

  1. You should see the following screen. Select "Network"

  1. Turn off WiFi.

If that does not restore audio, please temporarily disable the 3G network. Go back to the General screen in the Settings section and click on Network.

There you will see the Enable 3G setting. Toggle this to OFF.

Can I listen to iHeartRadio while working in other iPhone or iTouch applications?
Yes, you can listen to iHeartRadio while working in other applications, as long as you have iOS 4 installed on your iPhone or iTouch.

How can I delete a tagged/favorite song after I've downloaded it?
Similar to deleting an email, you may delete a song from your Favorite list by swiping your finger across the name of the song in the list. When you do this a red "Delete" button will appear. Pressing the button will delete the song from your Tagged list.
